Ballerina Sweater

Ballerina sweater I wish I could wear you everyday...

When I rise from my dream world
I immediately think to put you on,
I dwell on where you might lay.
I know in the back of my head
if you were clean I'd be warm in your arms.
Fabric that makes me feel so comfy and cozy,
there is a reason why when I load the wash
your the first one in and the first one out.
Ballerina sweater I wish I could wear you everyday,
but sadly I can not.
My friends would yell at me and tell me to change.

Shows I like that I really shouldn't

BCC version of a vampire show is called Being Human and I'm not going to lie although I hate the vampire fad .... this is my second season of watching being human and I am really addicted to it. The premis of the show is about a wear wolf, a vampire, and a goast living together as flat mates in london trying to be human. It started out being funny but it has gotten really dramtic and serious. It has gotten to the point that it is so dramatic it is hillarous. I like it.... I don't know what else to say.

Art

I found this bench to paint the other day on one of my midnight walks when I was have a particullarly interesting evening with myself. I drew the dead earth sketch onto the ground with chalk. I was really into it so when I found the bench I was stoked. I want to use this logo on a shirt so I am working on a bleach stencel.

Materials: found wood and recycled paints from my dear cousin Rita's old paints

Movie Time

I dedicated today as an art day to finish up some projects I am working on and while doing so I threw on the latest awesome library movie. It's a Chinese puppet film that is "violent, erotic and disturbing" . Crazy right! Check it out Kihachiro Kawamoto is all about making puppets to tell stories of the suppression of woman in china! The one I watched today is called "The Book of The Dead"

Giselle you would be super into it if you haven't seen it yet!

Kombucha : A letter to Lindsay Lohan

Dear Lindsay Lohan,

Suck it! Although my hatred for you continues to boil over the Kombucha fiasco, where you so bluntly lied about getting drunk off Kombucha, I have found Peace of mind in a new local Kombucha product. I guess there were some positives to the suffering I (and many many others ) had to endure because of you, as kombucha's were taken off the shelves and retested over and over again for alcohol levels.

Anyway I am really in to the new Healing Springs Raw Kombucha, they are super good! They don't have any bitter aftertaste and the probiotics culture clumps (which tend to gross me out a bit) are limited : ) I am pretty excited about them being made locally in central California and all. Yay!

P.S.

If you touch my Kombucha Lindsay I will hunt you down and beat you up the old fashion way.

Gluten Free "Cheesy" Garlic Crumpets

I have had a hankering to make a delicious savory gluten free treat for a while. I have a little extra time now that I got to drop my History class !!! So I thought I try this to celebrate : )

This is not for the weak. It helps to have friend who are down to help like I had : )

I modified this recipe to be vegan from a basic English ( as in from England) gluten free crumpet recipe on a blog called blokes who bake

2/3 cup of Rice Flower
1/2 cup of Nutritional Yeast
1/3 cup of quinoa flower
2/3 cup tapioca flower
1/3 cup of daiya cheese
1 teaspoon of salt
3 egg equivalent (I used 2 tablespoons of flax seeds 4 tablespoon of hot water mixed separately with 1 egg worth of egg replacer )
1/2 tablespoon of arrowroot
1 tablespoons of organic powdered sugar
1/2 cup light coconut milk
4 tablespoons earth balance massaged into flour
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar to coconut milk, wisk
1 tablespoon of garlic gomasio seasoning
2 cloves of elephant garlic
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

Sift and gently mix together all dry ingredients. Mix in by hand 4 tablespoons of soften earth balance, 3 equivalent egg replacers, garlic, and daiya cheese. Mix coconut milk and apple cider vinegar separately fold in gently until mixed. Baked for 30 min in a 350 degree pre heated oven in a well oiled muffin pan. Let stand for 10 min serve with earth balance or yeasty "cheese" sauce : ) !!

Documentaries I approve of
